Subject:  Fall Student Registration now Open


Parents - 


I hope your summer has been restful and enjoyable. I realize school is still about a month away, but online registration will open on Monday, July 15.  All Morton 709 parents should receive an email from the district office by July 15 with details and instructions on how to register.


Linked below is information containing important dates, registration information, supply list, fees, etc.  Registration instructions are also below. The third link is the information provided during the spring’s parent orientations.    


Please be aware that Morton CUSD 709 had switched its payment platform from E-Funds to REVTRAK last summer.  Here are instructions. 


Our annual Registration day is on Thursday, August 1 from 7:00am - 1:00pm. While it is not required to come into the building to complete the registration process, you certainly can if you prefer.  Student schedules and locker information will be available on this day via PowerSchool as well. 


Additionally, beginning on August 1st, from 8:00am-2:00pm MJHS will be open daily for students to “move-in” to their lockers as well as tour the building and practice their locker combinations.

Lastly, accelerated class placements for incoming 7th Graders have been mailed out this week.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break!
