Parent Email - Aug. 5

Parents & Guardians, 

Student schedules are in the process of being made visible online.  You should now be able to view schedules (and locker info) from a browser in PowerSchool.  We hope to have schedules visible through the PowerSchool App by the end of the day.  We are still making tweaks and changes so there are some schedules that will still be changed in the coming days.  

Regarding the Registration process, please be sure to complete all eight sections and submit each one individually.  Mrs. Presley will reach out to you if you haven’t completed it fully. 

Students are free to come in this week and “move-in” to their lockers and tour the halls to get a better feel of the building.  The building is open from 8:00-2:00.  (You can stop by the office if you need your locker info.)

Fall orientation for incoming 7th Graders and new 8th Graders is on Monday, August 12 from 1:00-2:00. Please meet in the Kiln (new gym).   

If your student is enrolled in a music class or has made a fall sport (softball, baseball, cross country, cheerleading, dance, or golf), the Activity Fee is due by the first contest.  

Lastly, Meet the Teacher Night comes quick as it is the first Thursday of the school year on Aug. 15 from 6:00-8:00.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break!
