8th Grade fun day email

Parents / Guardians, 


Attached is a flyer from the 8th Grade fun day committee.  Students are encouraged to wear socks and shoes…and sunscreen.   


We are in need of some additional assistance and below is the signup.  Please consider donating!

Also, if your student has a food allergy that would impact him/her eating Thursday’s lunch of a gondola sandwich, chips, cookie, water, please email me at chris.carter@mcusd709.org or call me at 309-284-5010.   


In addition to the provided lunch from La Gondola, the following food trucks will be present (at the student’s expense):  Fire Foods Nachos, Rubi’s Brick Oven Pizza, and DeMarchi’s Espresso.  


Thanks you to all the parents who have organized this day.  It is always an enjoyable time.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break!
