Morton Junior High School News and Notes

  Parents and Guardians, Today was another “great day to be a Junior Potter!”  The Help-a-Thon was a great success!  From what I saw and heard from others, our students worked their tails off!  Here is a folder of pictures from today.  Additional pictures will be added.   I wanted to remind everyone that we do in fact have school on Monday, Columbus Day.  There have been years in the past when we had this day off from school, but not this year!  Our next days off will be for parent/teacher conferences on October 24 & 25.  Also, we do not have school on Election Day, November 5, either. Today was the end of the 1st Quarter, and report cards will be emailed home next Friday afternoon. You can still sign up for conferences.  Please use this link to sign up for an in-person conference and this link to request an email update.   Career Spark field trip ...It was a another Great Da to be a Junior Potter!

Gray Team Parents/Guardians,  Each year the Red & White Club (PTO) coordinates “teacher appreciation” breakfast/snacks for the staff on or around the first Monday of each month.  Instead of asking all parents each month to consider contributing, we will ask one team’s parents each month.  For this month, we are asking the 8th Grade’s Gray Team parents.
