In this episode, we explore how trying to keep the peace in the moment can sometimes prevent children from building essential life skills. From rescuing children from discomfort to over explaining during meltdowns, we reflect on how caregivers can create age-appropriate opportunities to develop patience, resilience, and healthy coping strategies. 1st Day of School Tomorrow!

Parents / Guardians -  Tomorrow is our first day of school!  Our renovations are nearly complete and our teachers are currently frantically getting moved-in! Students will participate in a building-wide orientation program and will be dismissed at 11:00.  Breakfast will be served, lunch will not. Students should NOT bring their binders, school supplies, or instruments.  They will NOT need any school supplies tomorrow.  Thursday is the first full day of school with Meet the Teacher Night from 6:00-8:00.  The program will begin in the gym with parents following their student’s schedules.  Your student’s schedule can be printed for you that evening if you are unable to find it on the PowerSchool App.   Here are a few reminders for the beginning of the year and some PTO information .  See everyone tomorrow!
