1st Day of School Tomorrow!

 Parents / Guardians - 


Tomorrow is our first day of school!  Our renovations are nearly complete and our teachers are currently frantically getting moved-in!


Students will participate in a building-wide orientation program and will be dismissed at 11:00.  Breakfast will be served, lunch will not. Students should NOT bring their binders, school supplies, or instruments.  They will NOT need any school supplies tomorrow. 


Thursday is the first full day of school with Meet the Teacher Night from 6:00-8:00.  The program will begin in the gym with parents following their student’s schedules.  Your student’s schedule can be printed for you that evening if you are unable to find it on the PowerSchool App.  


Here are a few reminders for the beginning of the year and some PTO information.

Grandparents Day

 Friday was a great day at MJHS.  We shared breakfast and lunch with our students' grandparents during our annual grandparents day.   It is always great to have our grandparents in the building for a meal and visiting a couple of classes.  The classrooms and the lessons presented daily may look a little different but from the past, but what hasn't changed over the years is our teachers continued dedication to our students.  I think our families got a glimpse of that on Friday.   Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make this happen once again.  I'm not sure how long we have done this, but it is suspected it's been at least 30 years.
