Parent Email, Counseling Change, March 2, 2025

Parents and Guardians, 

I wanted to take a moment to share some staffing news.  Beginning on Monday, March 3, Mrs. Rabe will transition from teaching 7th Grade social studies to working in our counseling office, where she joins Mrs. Cox and Miss Patton.  Mrs. Rabe has been a long-time valued member of our faculty, and we are excited about her new role, where she will assist in supporting all of our students.       

We are currently finalizing details for the substitute on the Green Team.  Mrs. Rabe will assist in this transition and be active in the classroom throughout the remainder of the year. In fact, there will be days when Mrs. Rabe will be back in her classroom.

Parents/Guardians -  Weather:  We are aware and concerned about this week's weather and its impact on our after school activities. We anticipate changes (cancelations, postponements, etc.) throughout the week. Coaches will communicate directly with their parents and teams. Fall Tryouts - Around the corner

Physicals should be dropped off in the school office prior to tryouts All athletes must be registered prior to tryouts.  Softball: Mon., July 25 & Tues., July 26 - 8:00-10:00 at Birchwood Park Golf:  Wed., July 27 a& Thurs., July 28, 1:30-3:30 at Hillcrest Golf Course in Pekin Baseball: Mon., Aug. 1 through Wed., Aug. 3:  8th Grade - 9:00-10:30 / 7th Grade - 10:30-12:00 at Westwood Park Cross Country: The first week practice schedule : Mon., Aug. 1 - 9-10:30am at Kennel Lake Tues., Aug. 2 - 6-7:30pm at Kennel Lake Wed., Aug. 3 - 6-7:30pm  at Kennel Lake Thurs., Aug. 4 - 8-9:30am  at Kennel Lake Fri., Aug. 5 - No practice A full practice schedule will be passed out during the first week of practice.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break!
