Registration Reminder Email, 7/30/25

Parents & Guardians,

Tomorrow is in-person Registration (7:00am-1:00pm) for anyone who prefers and for anyone who

is new to Morton CUSD #709.  Student schedules are currently viewable in PowerSchool,

along with locker number and combination.  Students are welcome to practice their locker combination and move-in any belongings they wish into their lockers any day after tomorrow between 8:00-2:00.

All student accounts were assessed the Registration fee and an Activity fee in REVTRAK.  If your

student is NOT playing a fall sport OR in a music class, you don’t have to pay the Activity fee right now.

But if your student is in a music class or playing a fall sport, you will need to pay the activity fee

during the registration process. The activity fee is a one-time fee, regardless of the number of

sports/activities/music in which a student participates.

Sports physicals can be dropped off in the office any weekday between 7:30-3:30.  

Please consider volunteering with the PTO.  This link will take you to the PTO volunteer survey form.  As we get closer to these events, the chairperson

will be in contact with volunteers regarding specifics.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break! Parent Email, March 24, 2025 - Upcoming Testing

Parents/Guardians, We will begin our annual standardized testing when we return from spring break.  Both the 7th and Grades take the IAR ( Illinois Assessment of Readiness ). The 8th Grade will also take the PreACT 8/9 and the ISA ( Illinois Science Assessment ).
