Summer Registration Email: July, 2025

Parents & Guardians - 

I hope your summer has been restful and enjoyable. I realize school is still a month away, but online registration is now open.  Morton 709 parents should receive an email from the district office with details and instructions on how to register.  Additional district information can be found here. 

Linked below is information containing important dates, registration information, supply list, fees, etc.  Registration instructions are also below. The third link is the information provided during the spring’s parent orientations.    

Here are instructions for setting up a REVTRAK account for submitting payments such as lunches and registration fees.  

Our annual Registration day is on Thursday, July 31, from 7:00am - 1:00pm. While it is not required to come into the building to complete the registration process, you certainly can if you prefer.  Student schedules and locker information will be available on this day via PowerSchool as well. 

Additionally, beginning on August 1st, from 8:00am-2:00pm, MJHS will be open daily for students to “move in” to their lockers as well as tour the building and practice their locker combinations.

Parent Email, March 24, 2025 - Upcoming Testing

Parents/Guardians, We will begin our annual standardized testing when we return from spring break.  Both the 7th and Grades take the IAR ( Illinois Assessment of Readiness ). The 8th Grade will also take the PreACT 8/9 and the ISA ( Illinois Science Assessment ).
