Parent Email, 8/19: Pictures, Yearbooks, and Attendance

Parents and Guardians, 


School Picture Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20th.  All students will be photographed, as this is the picture that will be used for the yearbook.  If you would like to order prints/packages of your child's photo, please log in to your account or create an account with HR Imaging.


To do this, please visit shop.hrimaging.com. After you have created an account and logged in, your student's photos, both from school picture day and from any athletics teams they participate in, will be loaded to your account. You can place your order prior to or after pictures are taken.  


All parents should have received picture information in the mail directly from HR Imaging.  We do have a paper order form available in the office as well. 


Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th.


Additionally, 2025-26 Yearbooks (from this year) can be ordered directly from the company using this link.  Last year’s yearbooks (2024-25) can be picked up from the office at any time. 


And a quick reminder regarding attendance.  Please use our attendance line:  284-5000.  Please use this line for sickness or doctor's appointments.  You will be able to leave a message at any time, 24/7.  We will issue a pass for 5 minutes before pick-up time or 10 minutes before an appointment across the street.

Grandparents Day Reservation

  Reservation Link Info Flyer  Email: Parents and Guardians,  One of our favorite days of the year is Grandparents Day. This year is is on Friday, April 26, and it is always a great experience for both our students and their grandparents. 8th Graders have the opportunity enjoy breakfast in the Kiln and then take their grandparent(s) to two morning classes.  7th Graders have lunch and then accompany their grandparent(s) to two afternoon classes.  Grandparent meals are complimentary and the student meal is $4.00.  Below is the sign-up link.     Sign-Up Form Have nice rest of your week and a restful Spring Break! Parent Email, March 24, 2025 - Upcoming Testing

Parents/Guardians, We will begin our annual standardized testing when we return from spring break.  Both the 7th and Grades take the IAR ( Illinois Assessment of Readiness ). The 8th Grade will also take the PreACT 8/9 and the ISA ( Illinois Science Assessment ). These tests provide much-needed insight into how our students are progressing and in turn ready for high school.  This data also helps us evaluate our curriculum, programming, and instructional strategies.  Testing Schedule : -  8th Grade PreACT 8/9 - Thu., Apr. 3; 8:15-12:00 -  7th Grade IAR - Mon.-Fri., Apr. 7-10; 8:00-10:15 (one test per day) -  8th Grade IAR - Mon.-Fri., Apr. 7-10; 10:20-12:20 (one test per day) -  8th Grade ISA - Tue., Apr. 15; 8:15-11:30 & 1:30-3:00 Here are some testing reminders that critical to our students: Please send your students with WIRED headphones.  Air pods won’t work.  (We will have some available.) iPads need to be FULLY charged.  Stud...
