Conference Reminder, 10/21/25

Parents / Guardians, 


This is just a reminder that parent/teacher conferences are this week from 8:00-7:00 on Thursday & 8:00 to 12:00 on Friday. The deadline to utilize the two options below is this evening at midnight.  After tonight, please call the office to schedule your conference.


 Listed below are two options parents can select from when considering what best works for each individual family’s schedule and needs. 

1. EMAIL:  I would like an email synopsis from my student’s TEAM of teachers.

  • This will be sent out by Friday

  • The deadline to request this is Tuesday (at midnight)    

  • Click HERE to fill out form

2. IN-PERSON CONFERENCE: I would like to meet IN-PERSON for a 15-minute conference with my student’s TEAM of teachers. 

  • Click the Sign Up link below to sign up for an IN-PERSON conference

  • Click the TEAM your student is on from the tabs at the top of the page (very important) and select conference time

  • IN-PERSON Parent-Teacher Conference Sign Up

  • To meet with a PE or Encore teacher, please email them directly to schedule; teachers will be stationed in the Kiln foyer


 Also, mistakenly omitted from the newsletter was the date of yearbook picture retakes. These will be taken on Wednesday, October 29, along with music and club pictures.

8th Grade Parent Email Regarding HS Locker Requests

This was sent out to 8th Grade parents on May 20... Morton High School will be switching to a locker request system.  This change is due to a vast majority of students not using their lockers. Many students have found they do not need a locker due to MHS allowing students to carry their backpacks throughout the school day.    However, any student that wants or needs a locker, we are happy to provide them with a locker.  Lockers can be requested at any time using the locker request link on the school website.  You can find this under the "Students" section of the Morton High School website.  Students will also be emailed the sign up link in their student email both today and again at the start of next school year.  -- Todd Herrmann Assistant Principal / Dean of Students (A-L) 309-284-6091 Morton High School
