Dodgeball Reminder

Parents/Guardians:

Our 11th annual Dodgeball for Gameball tournament is this Friday, and we have a record 26 teams competing. I suspect some friendly “trash-talking” this week as teams view the bracket.  This event is always a great time. Dodgeballs start flying at 6:00 and should be over around 8:00.

We are in search of some additional volunteers.  Please check out this sign-up genius for options. We can’t make this event happen without your support.  

Even if you aren't volunteering, we still encourage you to attend.  Admission is $3 (for all) with 100% proceeds going to the Gameball Run.  I recommend you sit higher in the stands in order to avoid the "splash zone”.

8th Grade Parent Email Regarding HS Locker Requests

This was sent out to 8th Grade parents on May 20... Morton High School will be switching to a locker request system.  This change is due to a vast majority of students not using their lockers. Many students have found they do not need a locker due to MHS allowing students to carry their backpacks throughout the school day.    However, any student that wants or needs a locker, we are happy to provide them with a locker.  Lockers can be requested at any time using the locker request link on the school website.  You can find this under the "Students" section of the Morton High School website.  Students will also be emailed the sign up link in their student email both today and again at the start of next school year.  -- Todd Herrmann Assistant Principal / Dean of Students (A-L) 309-284-6091 Morton High School
