Parent Email - July 27, 2026

 Parents and Guardians, 

Tomorrow is in-person Registration from 7:00am-1:00pm. This is only required for students who are new to Morton 709 this year (meaning the student attended a different district in 2025-26 or was homeschooled).  This is optional for students who attended Morton Junior High School, Grundy, Brown, Jefferson, or Lincoln. 

Students will be able to see their scheduled via their PowerSchool access starting tomorro morning.  If your student is transferring in from another district or was homeschooled, you will not be able to see your schedule until you complete the Registration process. Once the Registration process is completed, we will build the student’s schedule.   

The building is NOT yet open for moving into lockers and touring.  Students will be able to do this beginning daily on Monday, August 3 from 7:30-2:30.  

Our first PTO meeting in next Thursday, July 6 at 7:00 in the JH office Team Room (large conference rom). Please complete this form if youare interested in either volunteering or leading a committee. 

Meet the Teacher Night is set for Thursday, August 13 from 6:00-8:00. Parents should meet in the gym and students do not attend this event. 

Athletic registration can be completed here. This needs to be done PRIOR to try-outs.
