You Won’t Know Unless You Go

In this episode, we discuss when young people say, “I don’t want to go” or “I’m not going to miss anything,” and how should caregivers respond? We explore the value of encouraging children to show up even when they feel hesitant. We discuss the opportunities young people can discover when they step outside their comfort zone from forming relationships and exploring future careers to learning that they can do hard things, sometimes simply being in the room can make all the difference. Grandparents Day

 Friday was a great day at MJHS.  We shared breakfast and lunch with our students' grandparents during our annual grandparents day.   It is always great to have our grandparents in the building for a meal and visiting a couple of classes.  The classrooms and the lessons presented daily may look a little different but from the past, but what hasn't changed over the years is our teachers continued dedication to our students.  I think our families got a glimpse of that on Friday.   Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make this happen once again.  I'm not sure how long we have done this, but it is suspected it's been at least 30 years.
