Meet the Teacher Night parent email, 8/13/25

Parents / Guardians, Welcome to the new school year!  We sincerely hope everyone is having a great start to the new year.   Tomorrow’s Meet the Teacher Night is from 6:00-8:00.  Parents will follow their student’s daily schedule, spending 10 minutes in each class to hear from each teacher. We encourage everyone to bring their student's schedule.  We recommend using the PowerSchool App. If you need the schedule, please stop in the office, and we will gladly print one for you.   Everyone will start in the Kiln (new gym) at 6:00 for a few brief remarks and then move to their first hour class by 6:15.  No worries, we probably won’t mark anyone tardy.   We hope to see you all there! Chris Carter Principal BTW - If you need to leave any medication at school, here is the form that needs to be filled out.

Parent Email, August 11

Parents & Guardians -  The first day of school is here!   It's been great seeing so many students stopping in these last couple of weeks getting their bearings straight and moving into their lockers. As I mentioned in last week's email, this year’s first day of school activities will be slightly different than those in the past.  This year, the entire student body will be participating in a building-wide orientation program.  Students will be meeting their teachers and visiting classes, but in a different format.   Please, students should NOT bring ANYTHING to school tomorrow.  Students should feel free to bring their school supplies on Wednesday.   Thanks! Parent Email, Aug. 7

Parents & Guardians -  The first day of school is rapidly approaching.  We are finishing up our summer maintenance and cleaning and will be ready for students on Tuesday, August 12.   Students are still welcome and encouraged to come into school tomorrow and move into their lockers, practice their locker combinations, and walk their schedule. This year’s first day of school activities will be slightly different than those in the past.  This year, the entire student body will be participating in a building-wide orientation program.  Students will be meeting their teachers and visiting classes, but in a different format.  There will be NO homework!   I would like to stress that students should not bring ANYTHING to school on the first day.  They won’t need their binders, folders, or boxes of Kleenex until the next day, Wednesday, August 13.   Thanks for all you do!
